How To Install The Appearance Menu Mod In Cyberpunk 2077
In Cyberpunk 2077, there are two ways to install mods. The first method involves the in-game mod management (recommended), the second is manual.
Manual Installation Steps as mentioned in mod page
Step 1: Download the latest version of Cyber Engine Tweaks and install it. At the time of writing, the current version is v1.19.1.
Get Cyber Engine Tweaks here – https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/107
Step 2: Open the .rar or .zip file you downloaded from Nexus
Step 3: Drag the ‘archive‘ and ‘bin‘ folders into your Cyberpunk folder
- Steam: steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\
- GOG: GOG Galaxy\Cyberpunk 2077\
Step 4: Click Replace if the confirmation window pops up
Step 5: The first time you load the game after installing Cyber Engine Tweaks, you will need to set the keybind to open and close its overlay. Press the tilde (~) key (or localized equivalent – see table below) to open the CET overlay, Appearance Menu Mod’s overlay will open and close along with it. Then click on CET’s Hotkeys tab, find the “AppearanceMenuMod” section, and explore the keybinding options available to you. None of them are required, but they can be very useful if you use those features frequently.
Here is a tutorial in case you are having issues following.
How to Use the Appearance Menu in Cyberpunk 2077?
Once you’ve installed the mods, you can activate them by opening the game’s main menu and selecting “Mods.” From here, you can enable and disable mods with a single click.
When you’re in-game, you can access the Appearance Menu by pressing the “Menu” button on your controller (if you’re playing on console) or by pressing the “F12” key (if you’re playing on PC).
From the Appearance Menu, you can change your character’s hairstyle, hair color, facial features, and body type. You can also use the menu to change your clothes and tattoos.
There are a few things to remember when using the Appearance Menu. First, changes you make to your character’s appearance will not be permanent unless you save them. Second, some changes (such as tattoos) can only be made at specific locations. Finally, remember that the game will autosave periodically, so any changes you make will be saved automatically.
