One Piece 1074: Believe in Momo – Luffy’s Final Powerful Technique

One Piece Episode 1074: Momonosuke is struggling to make Flame Clouds in order to keep Onigashima from collapsing. The Fire Festival is coming to a conclusion in the Flower Capital, with people flying their Sky Boats over the skies. To fulfill his commitment to liberate the Land of Wano, Luffy inflates his fist and strikes Kaido.

Introduction

One Piece Episode 1074: The first half of the episode concentrates on the scenario beneath the roof. Raizo and Jinbei dealt with the fire, and none of the Straw Hats have given up (except Usopp, who is simply fleeing for his life). Then we see Momonosuke and Yamato, and the young future shogun is still questioning himself and believing he can’t accomplish what he needs to do to save everyone.

Although Yamato keeps encouraging him, it appears that he is unable to overcome his bad thoughts, and we then see a flashback to when Toki sent him to the future with Oden’s retainers.

Believe in Momo

Momo’s character has always been intended to progress from a scaredy-cat to a dependable shogun. Although Shinobu’s talent aged his body, it’s crucial to remember that Momo is still an 8-year-old child carrying a massive load.

It was really emotional to witness how he came to terms with what needed to be done following Kin’emon’s speech, and it feels fantastic to finally see him about to totally move on from his undermining ideas and actually give it his best. As he eventually decides he can do it, we move on to the main event, Luffy’s duel versus Kaido.

Luffy decides it’s time to call it quits and instructs Momo to relocate Onigashima away from his massive fist. The “I trust you” hit hard, reminding us of the numerous times Luffy gave Momo the confidence he needed to become the man Wano requires.

Luffy’s Final Powerful Technique

For Luffy’s lightning movement, ONE PIECE provided amazing animation. The smooth movement was breathtaking to see as Luffy revealed even more of Gear 5’s incredible skills. To be honest, it feels like the fight is already done and that Kaido has no chance after the prior K.O.s he gave our protagonist. Nonetheless, he appeared to strike some decent blows today, although they didn’t seem to accomplish anything.

The remaining allied forces inside the Skull Dome below realize that even if Luffy wins the battle, Onigashima would still crash, killing them. The allies, who are willing to give their lives to remove Kaidou from power, cheer on Luffy and hope for his success over Kaidou.

Luffy hears cheers from the Skull Dome and prepares a final attack on Kaidou, swelling his fist to the size of Onigashima. He declares that he trusts Momonosuke to protect the Flower Capital while he prepares to fulfill his pledge of liberating Wano Country.
